RateMyDrawings continues to raise their ink limit, but somehow I always manage to run low way before I'm ready. The result (background) was not quite what I had intended since I had so little ink to play around with.

Clear Platform Heel

This image represented more to me than just cheap plastic shoes. This represented all those fun special moments spent with the girly friends throughout my lifetime. I like to think that we shared moments and sides of ourselves that were rarely shown to others. We could be as silly as we wanted, as dorky as we cared to be, and sometimes a bit on the sleazy side. Ha! (jk) Each of the girls in my life have meant more to me than they'll ever know. I still think of most of them on occassion and wish them all the best in the world. These were the thoughts running through my head as I smiled and drew this picture of this cheesy platform shoe. This is the result of having fun and fond memories flash through your head as your hand continues to draw. I think it's my favorite digital painting I have done thus far.

Marble on Marble

I did look at an image of a marble when creating this one. I wanted something simple. I was testing the new java drawing tools that RMD has offered to a select few artists. It is more like Photoshop. You have more tools, layers, and the biggest selling point; unlimited ink, but it does not show the drawing animation once completed. For that reason alone, I don't like it much. Being able to watch the drawings from beginning to end is WHY I fell in with love RMD in the first place. I am rather disappointed when I open an awesome picture and am unable to watch it's creation. I don't plan to use it much at all, but did want to take it for a test drive - and break out the tablet for a change too. ;o}
